ADTECH HOLDING LTD, a company registered in accordance with the legislation of Cyprus under registration number HE 353566 and having its registered office at Zinonos Rossidi, 11, 3082, Limassol, Cyprus (hereinafter – the “Organizer”, “We”, “Our”, etc.), being the owner and organizer of “HackTech” Hackathon, taking place at Warehouse by ITQuarter, Limassol, Cyprus from 23rd November, 2024 09:00 a.m. to 24th November, 2024 20:00 p.m. (hereinafter – the “Hackathon”), as well as being the owner of any and all the Hackathon’s domains, and of all content available therein (hereinafter – the “Website”) is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy and handling your personal data in an open and transparent manner. Accordingly, we have developed this privacy policy in order for you to understand how we collect, use, process, disclose, store the personal data you provide us with, your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and the use of cookies on the Website.

This privacy policy applies when you visit and use the Website, when you register in the Hackathon and further to your registration within the Hackathon arrangement and carrying out (e.g., for the purposes of forming the participants lists, forming the participating teams, communication, etc.). It does not apply when using any advertising services as a customer. This privacy policy also does not apply to any products, services, websites, or content that are offered by third parties or have their own privacy notice.
We obtain your personal data mainly through any information you provide directly to us, including when you enter and use our Website, including when you register for/participate in / attend the Hackathon, when you accept our Terms and Conditions, when you contact us for any enquiries, complaints or for any other reason.

Please, kindly note that You are not under obligation to provide the personal data to the Organizer. However, provision of the personal data by you and its processing by the Organizer are necessary for the purposes named under the present Privacy Policy, in particular to allow the Organizer to lawfully fulfil its respective rights and obligations under the Hackathon’s Terms and Conditions and enable you to participate in the Hackathon. Therefore, failure to provide the personal data to the Organizer (or your withdrawal of the consent to process the personal data as described herein), may lead to illegality, impracticability and impossibility of cooperation between the Organizer and you, as well as may lead to impossibility to allow you to participate in the Hackathon.
Hence, in making the decision on whether to provide the personal data we expect and rely on you to take it on fully your own initiative without any compelling from any side. However, please kindly note that if you decide not to provide the personal data or later wish to withdraw it, we will execute your legal right as prescribed hereunder, however, we will be forced to stop your participation in Hackathon, and in such a case we release ourselves from all and any obligations and/or responsibility under the Terms and Conditions of the Hackathon, as well as we reserve all and any rights we may have in this connection under the named Terms and Conditions and the applicable law.
We will keep your personal data for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which we initially collected them. Once such period has ended, we will keep your personal data for the longest of the following periods: a) any retention period set out in our retention policy which is in line with regulatory requirements relating to retention; or (b) the end of the period in which legal action or investigations might arise in respect of the services provided.
Once the retention period of your personal data lapses, we will ensure that your personal data are either irreversibly anonymised or securely destroyed.
